A bit about Dan & Mari
Dan & Mari produce a larger sound that you may first suspect, with Dan’s guitar style building on a unique sense of rhythm created by the percussive sounds of his stomp box and foot tambourine. This provides a rich backdrop to Mari’s characterful, attention-grabbing vocal and is often combined with her ukulele, cigar box guitar or hand percussion to increase the duo’s soundscape once again.
Their years of combined experience in professional music, having performed in different line-ups at various events and festivals. Their broad and growing repertoire (from Gloria Gaynor to Green Day – and beyond), delivered through strong musicianship with a dash of fun, has garnered them a growing reputation as a must-have act to keep audiences singing and dancing all night!
Adding a special touch to your day is always key, and to cater for this Dan & Mari will learn your first dance song or special request (provided their style and line-up allow it). They're also happy to try and dress according to the theme or colour scheme of your event adding that extra something to bring everything together!
